Abstract

The total workforce in August 2022 was 48,174 people, an increase of 2,515 people compared to August 2021. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) increased by 2.05 percentage points.
The working population was 46,582 people, an increase of 2,812 people compared to August 2021. The jobs that experienced the largest percentage increase were in the agricultural sector (24,669 people). While employment that experienced the biggest decline was the Service Sector (16,323 people).
69.27 percent work in informal activities, up 10.72 percentage points compared to August 2021.
The August 2022 Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 3.30 percent, down by 0.84 percentage points compared to August 2021.
There were 1,832 people (1.83 percent of the working age population) who were affected by COVID-19, consisting of working residents who experienced reduced working hours due to COVID-19.
