Abstract

The number of poor people in Malinau Regency in 2024 is 6,450 (6.94 percent). In 2023, the number of poor people in Malinau Regency was 5,950 (6.54 percent). The number of poor people in Malinau Regency in 2024 increased by 500 individuals, and the percentage increase is 0.40 percentage points.
During the 2023–2024 period, the poverty line (PL) increased by 5.48 percent, from IDR 749,933 per capita per month in 2023 to IDR 791,037 per capita per month in 2024.
In the 2023–2024 period, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) increased, while the Poverty Severity Index (P2) remained the same. The Poverty Depth Index rose from 0.37 in 2023 to 0.57 in 2024. Meanwhile, the Poverty Severity Index in both 2023 and 2024 remained at 0.06.
