Economic Growth of Malinau Regency in the Fourth Quarter of 2024

Abstract

Malinau's economy in Q4-2024 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR4.73 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR2.40 trillion.

The economy of Malinau Regency in 2024 grew by 3.55 percent, slowing down compared to the achievement in 2023 which experienced growth of 4.22 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Secondary Sector at 10.40 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Final Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component at 8.45 percent.
Malinau's economy in Q4-2024 compared to Q4-2023 experienced growth of 3.51 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Secondary Sector at 11.47 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Final Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component of 8.89 percent. Malinau's economy in Q4-2024 compared to Q3-2024 experienced growth of 3.07 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Secondary Sector of 11.12 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Final Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component of 38.96 percent.
