Abstract

FTT is the ratio of the index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is an indicator to measure the farmers’ purchasing power parity in rural areas. FTT shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumption and production costs.
In January 2025, Kalimantan Utara FTT was 117,34 or increased by 2,19 percent compared with that in December 2024. The increase in FTT was due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It) at 1,33 percent or higher than the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) which decreased by -0,85 percent.
Kalimantan Utara FTT by subsector in January 2025 namely Food Crops Subsectors FTT (NTPP) at 103,98; Horticulture Crops Subsectors FTT (NTPH) at 104,72 ; Smallholders Estate Crops Subsectors FTT (NTPR) at 204,14 ; Animal Husbandry Subsector FTT (NTPT) at 102,49 ; and Fishery Subsectors FTT (NTNP) at 99,69.
Kalimantan Utara Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 120,15 in January 2025 or increased by 1,33 percent compared with that in December 2024.
The price index of household consumption (IKRT) in January 2025 decreased by -1,13 percent compared with that in December 2024, which was due to the decrease in the indexes of Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel expenditure group by -17,77 percent.
