Abstraction

  • Of the 90 Municipalities monitored by the national CPI, in March 2022, 88 Municipalities experienced inflation and 2 other Municipalities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was found in Merauke Municipality at 1.86 percent while the lowest inflation occurred in Kupang Municipality at 0.09 percent. The highest deflation was found in Tual Municipality at -0.27 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Kendari Municipality at -0.07 percent.
  • Kalimantan Utara Province (Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality Combined) in March 2022 experienced inflation of 0.72 percent percent. Tarakan Municipality experienced an inflation of 0.52 percent and Tanjung Selor Municipality experienced an inflation of 1.50 percent.
  • Inflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality Combined) was influenced by the increase in the index in the personal care and other services group by 1.97 percent, the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group by 1.38 percent, the transportation group by 0. 94 percent, food and beverage/restaurant supply group 0.91 percent, food, beverage and tobacco group 0.78 percent, information, communication and financial services group 0.34 percent, housing, water, electricity and fuel groups household by 0.31 percent, clothing and footwear group by 0.04 percent, health group by 0.03 percent, recreation, sports and culture group by 0.00 percent and education group by 0.00 percent.
