Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) in March 2022 was 110.19 or an increase of 0.71 percent in Kalimantan Utara Province

Abstraction

• Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
• FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
• FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2022 was 110.19 or an increase of 0.71 percent compared to FTT in February 2022. The increase in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
• FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2022, namely the Food Crops Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 97.77; Horticultural Farmer Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 100.82; People Plantation Crops Farmer Terms of Trade (NTPR) is 161.89; Livestock Farmer Terms of Trade (NTPT) of 105.11; and the Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Farmer Terms of Trade (NTNP) of 103.54.
• The Agricultural Household Business Farmer Terms of Trade (NTUP) of Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2022 was 112.87 or an increase of 0.55 percent compared to the FTT of previous month.
• In March 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara Province by 0.14 percent due to an increase in the index in the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel index by 0.35 percent.
