Abstract

Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in January 2022 was 109.97 or up 1.19 percent compared to FTT in December 2021. The increase in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in January 2022, namely the Food Crops Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 98.60 ; Horticultural Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 98.67 ; People Plantation Plants Terms of Trade (NTPR) is 155.73 ; The Farmers Livestock Terms of Trade (NTPT) is 105.61 and the Fisherman and Fish Cultivator Terms of Trade (NTNP) is 105.78.
The Agricultural Household Business Terms of Trade (NTUP) of Kalimantan Utara Province in January 2022 was 112.47 or an increase of 0.77 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In January 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara Province by 0.00 percent, which was caused by an increase in the index in the Recreation, Sports and Culture group by 0.51 percent.
