Coordination of the Desa Cinta Statistik Program (Desa Cantik) in Mentarang

Thursday (15/04/2021), coordination of the Desa Cinta Statistik Program (Desa Cantik) was carried out with the Head of the Mentarang sub-district.

Based on the results of coordination with Bappeda, Diskominfo and PMD Office which strongly supported the implementation of the Desa Cantik program in Desa Malinau Kota, a proposal was also obtained for one more village name for sectoral statistical guidance. The village is Pulau Sapi Village in Mentarang Subdistrict which is a tourist village and has received an award as the first winner in a national level village competition.

Prior to conducting sectoral statistics coaching in Pulau Sapi Village, the Head of BPS Kab. Malinau Mr Supriyanto together with the Desa Cantik program work team coordinated with Mr. Franklin, the Head of the Mentarang sub-district. He really welcomed and supported the existence of this Desa Cantik program.

The hope is that the Desa Cantik Program can be implemented and become a driving force in other villages so that it can produce quality human resources who are able to present village data that can be used as material for planning, making and evaluating village programs.
