Abstract

The number of poor people in North Kalimantan in September 2024 was 41.11 thousand (5.38 percent). In March 2024, the number of poor people was 47.83 thousand (6.32 percent), meaning the number of poor people decreased by 6.72 thousand people or in percentage terms decreased by 0.94 percentage points.
During March-September 2024, the poverty line (GK) increased by 2.58 percent, from IDR 854,294 per capita per month in March 2024 to IDR. 876,375,- per capita per month in September 2024.
In the period March-September 2024, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) decreased, from 0.816 in March 2024 to 0.495 in September 2024. A similar thing happened to the Poverty Severity Index (P2) which decreased from 0.190 to 0.081.
