June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.39 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.28 percent.

Abstract

In June 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.39 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.51. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.28 percent with a CPI of 106.86 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 1.25 percent with a CPI of 105.06.
Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.78 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.84 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.09 percent; health group at 0.59 percent; transportation group by 1.90 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.81 percent; education group at 0.24 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.07 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 4.24 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.24 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.23 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in June the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was -0.08 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.09 percent.
