May 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.42 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.65 percent.

Abstract

In May 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.42 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.59. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.65 percent with a CPI of 107.07 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 1.66 percent with a CPI of 105.31.
Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.92 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.87 percent; health group at 1.04 percent; transportation group by 1.86 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.35 percent; education group at 0.24 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.36 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 4.21 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.13 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.49 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.10 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in May the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.11 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.17 percent

November 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 1.68 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.43 percent.

October 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.20 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.74 percent.
