In 2021, the rice harvested area in Kalimantan Utara Province is estimated at 8.88 thousand hectares with a production of 29.97 thousand tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2021 is estimated to reach 17.76 thousand tons.

In 2020, the paddy harvested area will be 9,883 hectares with a production of 33,574 tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2020 will reach 19,802 tons in Kalimantan Utara Province.

In 2023, the rice harvest area will reach around 6,500 hectares with rice production of 23,602 tons of milled dry grain (GKG). ​
